Another case for education reform

Don't know how many of these we need, but it's clear that this message is either being ignored by the Right or is something that they are incapable of understanding when it goes agaisnt their world view. It's an interesting article either way, and makes a valid point: education is most likely going to be what defines America's future, as opposed to taxes and regulations. The quality of our education, the amount of money we use to fund it, and the opportunities for higher learning that are available will be the indicators of where we fall in the future. Education is not a luxury, it is a right and all people should have access to the best possible system for knowledge and higher understanding. That is how we shape our future and become a great nation of the 21st Century.
